Farnham boys football team took part in the 7-a-side annual Pat Ryan Memorial Tournament on Friday 18th October at the 3G Pitch in Breffni Park.

Their first opponents were St. Felim's and they were lucky to obtain a victory in this game. Next, they defeated Crubany which took them to the final.

Killygarry were the opposition this time. The two teams were neck and neck the whole way through in this exciting game. Goals came from captain, Michael Veale, and Ife Makinde.  In the last minute, both teams were level but Farnham were lucky to receive a free for a tackle on Ife Makinde. Evan Mc Intyre accepted the challenge of taking the free in this nail-biting game, and with great skill, put the ball over the bar. The whistle blew and Farnham were declared victors of the tournament!

Well done boys and hopefully they will keep up winning form for the Cumann na mBunscol final on November 9th!

Comhghairdeas mór do na buachaillí!
