Don't forget boys and girls that you are allowed to dress up on Friday for Halloween! Whether it's a scary monster or a pretty princess, we're looking forward to seeing you in your costumes. What will YOU be dressing up as?
Here in Farnham School we know how important it is to look after the birds in our Environment. As you can see in the photographs, Oisin Hilton and Sarah Clarke are busy every morning making sure that they get fed.
Use the chart to the left, to see if you can spot any of these feathered friends around Farnham - make sure to let us know if you do!
Big congratulations to all the girls and boys who took part in the County Cavan National Schools Cross Country competition in Killinkere today. It was a really enjoyable day with both individual and team medals won.
Comhghairdeas daoibh go léir!!
Big congratulations to Niamh O'Reilly in 5th class who came 3rd in the Bridge Street Traders Association Aussie Rules competition. She won herself a ticket to the game Saturday and her winning picture will be on display in Donohoe's Foodfare Bridge Street. Well done Niamh!
Farnham boys football team took part in the 7-a-side annual Pat Ryan Memorial Tournament on Friday 18th October at the 3G Pitch in Breffni Park.
Their first opponents were St. Felim's and they were lucky to obtain a victory in this game. Next, they defeated Crubany which took them to the final.
Killygarry were the opposition this time. The two teams were neck and neck the whole way through in this exciting game. Goals came from captain, Michael Veale, and Ife Makinde. In the last minute, both teams were level but Farnham were lucky to receive a free for a tackle on Ife Makinde. Evan Mc Intyre accepted the challenge of taking the free in this nail-biting game, and with great skill, put the ball over the bar. The whistle blew and Farnham were declared victors of the tournament!
Well done boys and hopefully they will keep up winning form for the Cumann na mBunscol final on November 9th!
Comhghairdeas mór do na buachaillí!

Well done Dimitri!
Sandra from the Credit Union is going to visit us every Wednesday. Children from 2nd class to 6th have the opportunity to set up a saving account and save between 50c and €5 if they wish. This is a great opportunity for children to get into the habit of saving.
Some members of the Cavan ladies team
visit us on Friday the 4th of
October with their managers. There was great
