Garda Declan Moran visits 5th & 6th

On Tuesday 22nd Sept, Garda Declan Moran from Cavan Garda Station came to speak to 5th and 6th classes. 
He spoke to us about Road Safety and reminded us that we should: 
- Always wear a helmet
- Cycle on the left side of the road
- Never cycle on the road without an adult
- Never cycle on the footpath or on the wrong side of the road

He also spoke to us about the dangers that are linked with Halloween. He reminded us that fireworks are not only extremely dangerous, but illegal and definitely not suitable for 5th or 6th class students!
