During the month of October, Ms Cosgrove and her Junior Infants had great fun getting to know each other! As it was Friendship and Wellbeing Month, we decided we would make relaxation jars using water, glitter, sequins and food colouring. We find them very useful when we have had a busy day or if we are feeling a little tense. We also read a story in Gaeilge called 'An Sicín Beag Buí.' The children had great fun taking turns to act out the story using face masks. Junior Infants have also been working very hard on their fine motor skills and pencil grip. In order to do this in a fun way, they have been sorting little beads into the various colours using a plastic tweezers! Finally, we were learning about the concept of heavy and light using a scales! We hope that everyone has a great Halloween and see you in November! :)
