Review of the Visiting Teacher Service for Children with Hearing and Visual Impairment
The Minister of Education and Skills has recently approved a review of the Visiting Teachers Service for Children with Hearing and Visual Impairment (VTHVI) in Ireland. The VTHVI Service provides support for the education of children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and children who are blind or who have significant visual impairment.

The review is using questionnaires to find out views about the work of the Service from:
§ parents/carers of children who currently receive support from the VTHVI Service;
§ children who currently receiving support from the VTHVI Service;
§ interested parties.
Please remember that the deadline for receipt of completed questionnaires is 20 January 2014
