NPC Special Interest Groups

4/5/2015

NPC has 6 Special Interest Groups, and every member Parent Association has one place held for them on each of these groups, this effectively means there are 6 opportunities  for parents of children in your school to have their voices heard in relation to topics which are of specific concern to them and their child/children.

Currently the Special Interest Groups represent parents of children:

  1. with Special Educational Needs
  2. from the Migrant Community
  3. from the Traveller Community
  4. in a Gaeltacht or Irish medium School
  5. of a Minority Religion (non-Roman Catholic)
  6. who are non-religious

The non-religious group is a brand new NPC group representing parents who have no religion and/or are raising their children in a non-religious ethos.

This group is meeting for the first time on Saturday the 16th of May 2015 in the NPC office, 12 Marlborough Court, Marlborough Street, Dublin 1 at 11am.

If you wish to attend please email crlnclarke@gmail.com before Thursday 14th May 2015, to book a place.
